John Kogan CEO, CFO, Co-Founder

John Kogan brings nearly 25 years of leadership experience, including four CFO positions, to his role as CEO/CFO of Proformative, Inc.

Prior to co-founding Proformative in 2009, John held CFO, COO and other finance leadership roles at several leading companies, including Cardinal Health, AlliedSignal and Cisco Systems. In addition to running accounting, finance and treasury departments, Kogan has also led corporate legal, HR, recruiting, IT, facilities and customer service operations.

Kogan has raised well over $100M in equity capital and debt, and has played central roles in numerous buy and sell-side transactions for both public and private companies. His market experience includes domestic and international, public and private companies in the hardware, software, service and process industries. He has also founded, invested in and been a board member or advisor of a number of companies.

Kogan holds an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a B.A. in Economics from Connecticut College.

Greg Stout CTO & Co-Founder

Prior to co-founding Proformative, Inc. in 2009, Stout held vice president and engineering leadership roles at a number of large and small advanced technology companies.

Stout has more than 20 years of direct experience in software development, engineering, web applications, databases, applications, professional services, customer support, product management, research and development, information systems, and embedded systems.

Stout is also a sought-after technical advisor for emerging start-up companies in various markets, including social community development. He has also founded, invested in and been a board advisor of a number of private companies.

Stout holds an MBA and B.S. in Computer Science from Oklahoma State University.

David Cowan VP, Business Development
David began his career as an educator developing and delivering adult learning programs. As a sales, marketing and business development executive, he developed and delivered training programs to sales teams and channel partner organizations in the US, Asia, and Europe. And, with over 15 years in executive management roles, David has established, developed and led effective organizations in Japan and the United States.
